Who We Are

Founded in 2015 by a team of operations researchers, Optiyol was built on a clear vision: to reinvent route optimization so that it’s used regularly within the challenging conditions of the real world. Our co-founders, both with Ph.D. degrees from Georgia Tech in Industrial and Systems Engineering, saw the opportunity to move companies beyond manual planning, spreadsheets, and simple heuristics.

At Optiyol, we develop proprietary planning and optimization algorithms and turn them into powerful software designed for logistics, retail, food and beverage, and consumer goods industries. We started with a simple observation: many businesses were still tackling well-known optimization problems with outdated tools. That insight became our mission to deliver decision-support software that combines academic research with practical industry expertise.

Our solutions extend far beyond route planning. Optiyol provides complete optimization and tracking for last-mile, middle-mile, and long-haul transportation. Unlike off-the-shelf tools, our platform is developed entirely in-house, powered by advanced algorithms, a clean and functional user interface designed for operations teams, and flexible integrations with existing systems. Our data model captures every layer of logistics, including fleets, orders, locations, and drivers, creating a realistic digital twin of operations.
